Provo Land Title has three centrally located offices with a trained staff on hand and professional closing rooms available for your closings. We want you and your customers to be as comfortable as possible when closing your transactions and will see to it that everything is taken care of. If your clients have special needs or requests, please let us know before hand so that we can ensure the smoothest closing day process. Alternatively, we can come to you for the closing, if this works better for your client. Please let us know in advance if you’d like a mobile closing and we’ll be happy to accommodate you. 1. Provide full name of buyer and seller; include last 4 digits of their social security numbers, and dates of birth; if possible, this eliminates problems with people with similar names.  

2. Provide contact information for realtors and lender.

3. Decide on a home warranty company and send the invoice to closer.

4. Provide realtor commissions and transaction fees; if applicable.

5. Provide leases or rental contracts before closing; if applicable.

6. provide contact information for homeowners association; if applicable.

7. Provide copies of any organization papers when the transaction involves a trust, llc, partnership, corporation, etc..

8. Provide adequate time for the title commitment to be produced in the disclosure deadline.

9. Provide full copy of real estate purchase contract and addenda, updating when changes occur.

10. Check with buyer on how they want to take title (joint tenancy, tenants in common, trust, etc..)

11. Turn off cell phones during closing please.
